Lagavulin Distillery and Miniatures

The above miniature, not from my collection, is the oldest known Lagavulin miniature. The shape of the bottle suggests that it is pre 1930.

The Malt Mill miniature in the Album is one of four rebottled from a blender's sample bottle by James MacArthur & Co. Malt Mill distillery operated within the Lagavulin complex until about 1962.
